ETSAMadrid hosts the video-exhibition London-Nantes 2010 Trip located in the main hall of the old building from May 26 to June 2. It shows the collaboration experience with the Architectural Association in London and the wokshop of Anne Lacaton at the Architecture University of Nantes.
This year the workshop of Anne Lacaton moved to the Architecture University of Nantes, built by Lacaton & Vassal. MCH participants worked with a group of French students directed by professor François Andrieux.
MCH has travelled to London where particpants presented a selection of the best workshop projects in front of a jury at the Architectural Association. There were conferences by Simos Yannas and Hugo Hinsley and guided tours to the most relevant housing buildings.

The project of Esperanza Campaña and Gustavo Rojas entitled “Esteoeste” has won the Competition “60 Dwellings in Melilla”, promoted by the Department of Housing and SEPES to build social housing in two plots next to the Gabriel de Morales barracks.
The jury highlighted the efficacy of the dwelling organization plan and passive control strategies and pointed out the balance between the built and free space, and its adaptation to topograpgy.
This year MCH has established a collaboration program with the MArch/MSc Sustainable Environmental Design of the Architectural Association of London, in which there was an exchange of experiences including visits to London and Madrid. During their stay in our city, a series of guided tours to housing and sustainabilty related buildings with the building architects were prepared.
