Housing, Envelope, Frame is the result of the research work that participants from the MCH 09 Edition developed for the Construction seminar.
It is a catalogue that presents the different construction solutions of the multi-family housing buildings promoted by the Municipal Housing Enterprise of Madrid (Empresa Municipal de la Vivienda de Madrid) in the last years. The analysis of the construction systems of the buildings make special emphasis on envelope and frame types including design and techincal requirements, social impact, energy efficiency and cost.
Dietmar Eberle (Baumschlager & Eberle), Anne Lacaton (Lacaton & Vassal), Hrvoje Njiriç (Njiriç+), Edzo Bindels (West 8), Andrea Deplazes (Bearth & Deplazes), Felix Claus (Clausenkaan) and Juan Herreros (Herreros Arquitectos) have confirmed their attendance as workshop leaders to the 2010 Edition.
